The Head Lad

I was a little stressed out when I was appointed as the head boy of Orchid. Stressed because I was bit apprehensive whether I will be able to carry out my duties with the responsibility I am supposed to do. I have been in this school since only the last one year and half and there are students who joined the school a decade back. Yet, I am happy to share that the school entrusted its faith on me. It provided me such ambience and culture that I never feel burdened. I realized that being a head boy isn’t about being better than anyone. Rather it is about having the trust of the students’ fraternity and make them perform and organize themselves with honesty and enthusiasm, whenever called upon. This realization evaporated my stress factor! This school has taught me to be compassionate about listening, and to be able to withstand challenges with a good sense of humor.

As a head girl of Orchid, I feel proud to share that I consider myself extremely fortunate to be given this unique opportunity to support, help and encourage our apprentices. While this responsibility and role requires hard work, dedication and ever readiness, it is incredibly rewarding and fulfilling as it teaches you to be humble and understanding, even in a small way. This is what I have learnt in Orchid. I love to reach out to the youngsters and make sure that everyone is heard to and appreciated especially during the times of challenges and uncertainty.

Obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it. Success might be waiting for you on the other side of the wall. Hello everyone! I feel glorious as I take this opportunity to express my gratitude and feelings of ecstasy towards the school management and students for passing me over with the responsibilities of sports captain of this prestigious school. It has helped me increase my confidence and determination. I am thankful to Orchid which has supported me with good values. I joined Orchid in the year 2018. My accomplishments are without a doubt, due to the support and encouragement of my teachers. Orchid has taught me many things out of which I would like to share one, for all students of the school and also for those who will be joining this amazing school in near future. It goes like “Don’t focus on what you can’t achieve, take a look of what you are capable of. You will feel confident and in due course learn to conquer the un-achievable.”
